The Learning Disabilities Association of Sudbury is pleased to announce the launch of our Journey To Success Adventure Day. This one-day session will help prepare students for the coming school year, by discovering their learning potential in the following ways:

  • Develop a learning profile to promote self-awareness
  • Learn how to ask for help to develop self-advocacy
  • Get organized
  • Calm the mind with techniques for self-regulation
  • Discover how assistive technology can support success

Mayor Brian Bigger was on hand to officially proclaim October as Learning Disabilities Awareness Month in the City of Greater Sudbury and has also accepted the role as Honourary Chair for awareness events all month long.
